I thought they were saying in the beginning that 1.5% of positive cases are likely to die but by those figures its more like 3.64%.

the good news is that not all infected die......the vast majority survive, is over 96% survival not good news to you... I would imagine it's similar across the UK

TBH I'm not bothered if you think I'm not optimistic but i am bothered you think 96.36% recovery in Scotland is good news when the overall is around 99% recovery.
In comparison 96.36% recovery is bad news isn't it? Or am i just being negative?

Before @Leni and @SirLugg get the pistols out both of these members I like and have time to read there posts I will say yes I agree with both of there comments and yes as I can see both are suffering in different ways through the crises but they are both different views of a crises that has no guidance so both will see it differently

ask 5 people what they think and 5 will give different answers read 5 newspaper articles over a fact and you will have 5 different views some with but our expert says...,

Im not comparing it to anywhere else... if I was I would have done a full world comparison chart.... but there was no need as Im not comparing it/ it's not a comparison statement...so it's good news as it stands 96.3% survival rate

@Rickster and @StrawberryRipple bear in mind the percentage isnae accurate anyway. a lot more people have had it than have been tested positive. and some death numbers have been counted for untested folk. so it’s a cert the survival rate is higher than rickster’s percentage.
