Firstly, I didnt even know this bit of the forum existed, only ever lurked around the top of the board, so I'm well excited to have a new corner to lurk in for a while, gleaning info!

Im about ready to order in the required bits and bobs for my first DIY, and reckon a single mix as my first attempt. Im a huge custard, cream, dessert fan, currently draining my supply of Drip Drops vanilla custard dry, and Ive read about suicide bunny/rabbit and mothers milk concentrate from rainbowvapes (solun arome)

Now, PG & VG wise, I've found 500ml cheap at £5.50 from thee-cigshop as well as 100ml of 72% nic, so total £20 (500ml VG, 500ml VG, 100ml 72% nic). Syringes, bottles and stuff I can pick up from local BnM store.

Now, I read on here somewhere about someone using the mentioned suicide clone concentrate, and just wondered if anyone else had? I was planning on using 100ml of the concentrate at 20%, thus giving me approx 500ml of finished product (approx 6mg nic content final), i mean literally, mixing it all up at 20% in one go to generate a large batch.

Im probably going to be advised to do a test sample first of say 10ml, but after watching videos and reading guides, Im fairly confident it will be fine,......that is until I read disaster stories here!

So, just to sum up, £30 for base ingredients plus a few bob on syringes, mix the lot up, do the shake and vac, leave to steep and voila.......creamy delight?

You sound like you know what you're doing, but just a couple of tips.

You haven't said what ratio VG/PG you're aiming for, so unless you want PG higher than 30% you won't need any. The concentrates are usually in PG, buy the nicotine in PG too and they will come to approx 30% of your mix.

You can get a litre of VG from Lubrisolve on ebay for £5.89. If you're mixing up 500ml just to start with you're going to need plenty more.

Ive been vaping at roughly 50/50 so will probably stick to that ratio for now, A litre for £5.89 sounds great, ill check that out now, id rather have too much than too little, and its not like it will go to waste. Ive bookmarked an juice calculator,...just seems so many suppliers, and when I do find one at a great price, they don't stock other things like syringes, where as I can go get everything under one roof, say TW, and the prices are quite steep!

Just make sure it's all USP grade.

Thank you for the link to the ebay seller Ment. I've added him to an ever growing list of suppliers. Roll on payday, so I can order the supplies to make my first batch of e-liquid. Hopefully by then I will know what I'm ordering and from whom.

Its done, and didnt take as long as I thought! mixed up 500ml of suicide bunny and mothers milk clone (pics on vape mail thread), stupidly I thought the SB concentrate was 100ml as per order but after I dumped the whole bottle in, realised via measurements it was about 150ml DOH! so I measured mothers milk and got it bang on!

Mixed at 60/40 VGPG, must admit the smell of SB is very strong, very sweet indeed, hopefully not too sickly, so far resisted the urge to try any as Ive enough juice to go through and eating it steep for as long as possible before I cave in!

I must say, it was quite a painless process and not as scary as I thought. I bought plenty of different sized syringes and blunt needles, a few jugs and took safety precautions, and kept an eye on the measurements adding up (aside from the SB) so fingers crossed it turns out at least somewhat vapable!

Congratulations and welcome to the home mixing club I've become a fan of OneShots, which are a very similar thing, A preblended concentrate that you just add PG/VG/Nic to. It's almost impossible to get it wrong, Unless of course you forget to reset the Nic percentage in your calculator and then make a bunch of 12mg instead of 6mg. So glad I hadn't knocked up the full 500ML before I noticed my error

I must say I'm quite impressed for my first diy effort, in fact, rather impressed!

left both mixes in a cupboard for a week, for no other need other than that's what I thought I should do, assembled my RH dripper and had a toot on both, took me a good evening to get used to the alleged 6mg which is stronger than my shop bought 6% but it's rather nice, the mothers milk clone is creamy, the suicide bunny is very sweet strawberry, I'll definitely be making more once this lot gets near the end

Well, I'll look forward to the one hit wonder milkman recipe I've seen on here and the muffin man one too, thanks for the tips and help guys, so glad I paid attention to the ejuice calculator and did some research first, made it easier and cheaper than I thought

Congratulations and well done, although I must admire your will power at leaving them in the cupboard for a week. I think I would have popped the last 5ml of each flavour into each of my tanks, just to test them of course.
