DIY Custard Collaboration Thread

I have spent good chunks of the day hunting the web for VC hints tips & recipes, thought it would be good if all custard DIY info was bunched into one mixology thread..

I have been converted (By Steamgunk - Captain Custard) and have been internet shopping, to get the ball rolling I have ordered a selection of goodies to see if between us we can't out-do Grant lol.. On route (to add to my existing stock pile)

Capella Vanilla Custard, Kandi-Hed Vanilla Custard, Vapours-R-Us Vanilla Custard, PA Dulce De Leche, a couple of different creams (cant remember which ones) some more sweetener (Stevia & Sucralose).. Think I ordered a French Vanilla as well, but lost track lol.. I already have FF Cream & Vanilla and EM..

I will post findings from the different VC concentrates.. but if you mixology peeps fancy posting ratio and % suggestions or full blown successful recipes I would be grateful..

Did not like colonel custard TBH myself....tried and left 3 weeks

I made some up at 20% with 50/50 vg/pg and took forever to steep, but after about a month and a little extra flavour it was great.

Only vaped store bought 80/20 wish it was higher VG tho

My target VG/PG ratio is always 60VG/40PG but some times I have to vary it slightly to get the level of flavour I want, I wont buy vendor juices if worse than 50/50 ratio as PG just does not agree with me.. Ninja has similar issue.. Steamgunk now have a smooth 50/50 option and can do it 60/40 in sizes bigger than 30ml, not an option on the site but they will do it if you send them a message..

I have him to thank for me finding Steamgunks - Captain Custard and its that good I have put in an order for another 30mls today, which has to say something as I normally just DIY.. all my vape budget for this month now spent on VC related items lol..

Have yet to try will have to go some to beat avant garde heavenly on dripper (trident) lol
