EFVI not allowed at Vapefest 2014

Came home from work and looked through this thread, quite intense to say the least

I will still be attending just to meet the fellow Apes

I am not going for trade stands and all the other bollocks I just want to meet like minded people who enjoy a vape socialise have a bit of banter and have a laugh .

Who ever turns up look forward to seeing you there and to those that choose not to come along I respect your decision and all that bollocks

Then the choice is that of the organisers. Simple really, noone has a gun pointed at their heads and told they must go. If it gets cancelled, there will be a pretty pissed off vendor that laid out the deposit. I am glad the vendors will get refunded, and whilst it would be a shame to see it cancelled, at least morals and principals are in tact.

EFVI was PUSHED into the corner, this is the organisers doing, they are the only ones who can rectify this. I am so relieved I have no part in EFVI, because I really would take the no compromise route!

I am really amazed at the attitude on another forum by the organisers, one in particular, and he has noone to blame but himself.

I just read through the thread on the other forum. Who are these people who claim to be EFVI? Are they endorsed by the committee? You say UKVIP are now running EFVI UK? Well, that makes it political. And confusing.
After reading both threads I really think this has gone too far.
1) there seems to be an insurance issue. This will not be resolved until Monday. No need to get into hoops about anything.
2) spreading rumours and bullying people is wrong
3) it will actually be better if every vendor displays information and signature points than a single stall. It will help much more if attendees wear t-shirts, not only at the event, but on the way there as well.
4) being adult about it and not name slinging will allow people to take it serious.

Thanks for clearing that up. No confusion intended. Simply trying to emphasise that supporting EFVI isn't 'voting' in the normal sense. There is no reason to decline the use of a table to an initiative which could help us all.

Sorry, just pointing ot that it appears an argument between the old UKVIP Chairman and Secretary, who own and run EFVI-UK, It was our old Chairman that started the thread that has become very damaging to both EFVI and Vapefest. I am not apportioning blame, just stating facts ..... But above I hear it is just the EFVI representatives?

As Gary says, let's chill a bit enjoy a drink and a Vape and let the Vapefest organisers and some reresentatives of efvi come to an agreement.
