What's new

Got fat?

Out of interest, over what period? It's more than possible, I can burn 250 calories on my spin cycle, in 45 minutes, fookin' knackering though and my back obviously hates it. I love the perverse sweating and Taylor Swift tunes, I wonder if those two things are connected :hmm: :D

Did an hour, just seems a bit excessive. Deadlifts alone had me 200 calories, which I suppose is knackering but dunno about that

One stone gone.

I’ve not been 100% good either with trips to the pub and pizzas & curry have been eaten.

Well done.

I need to start losing some weight.

Used to be constant 14st.

After heart attack and quitting cigs put on about St and a half.

Started at the gym at work but not long after started to get problem with left foot.
Lots of pain when walking so much so that after about six months of limping started to get pain in right achilles.

Left foot healed but achilles would not go away.
Saw physio eventually but not much difference?
Eventually refured to specialist and turns out I now have tendonitus In it due to overload after limping
DOH.

Did a step challenge at work for a hundred days a couple of years ago and averaged 21000 a day.
Can't get anywhere near that now.

Weight still going up slowly.
I'm 6foot 4 and nearly 16 and a half St.

Nevehad to watch what I eat having had a fairly physical job but ow need do somthing

Did some sled pushes at the gym today, have always wanted to use it but was never sure how too

Just load it up & push the thing, then push it back with the smaller handles, easy & lots of fun

I was knackered after my workout already so just tried it out & did 6 lots of 10 yards, could really feel it in my quads. That's the idea as I have trouble building up leg strength so building up with that 2 or 3 times a week should help

Apart from walking, which I class as easy conditioning I don't really do any hard conditioning. Mrs Ace doesn't want a rowing machine in the garage, I tried running over the park & hated it, I really want to do something on my off days that doesn't include more drives to the gym

Went to the physio yesterday, my back's black & blue, she could't believe how knotted up it was after just four weeks so going back in two to try & prevent it but I had awful shoulder pain again last week. She used those sucker things & knew that I'd been ill, which I had been with that chest infection a couple of weeks ago, thought that was pretty cool

Awesome work pal!!!

Social beers & food is a thing, you want to be social but not sit there drinking orange squash & eating salad, it's about keeping on top of it I guess & not being on the beers & burgers every day. The Euro's could be a problem for me but hey, I'm not Bruce Lee :18:
