how many wraps on micro coil

I'm also new at this but have a back round in electronics as I'm an engineer. Micro coiling is MUCH different then a standard coil. The main reason is because using charts with the length of the wire will help for standard coil, a micro coil changes slightly. It actually has mod to do with the diameter/radius of the coil, the gauge wire, and the length of the coil. The reason Its different because current flows from one end of the coil to the other, however since these wraps on a micro coil are actually touching each other then current can jump from one coil to the next without actually going around the whole diameter of the coil first, hence a micro coil.. Basically requires less energy to charge the whole thing because I acts as one big resistance, instead of going through the entire coil.. Think of it as tying a not in yarn... If u follow the string itself then it will take longer to travel that distance, but where the knot is u travel a greater distance in the yarn in a shorter time.
