What's new

Matt Hancock

Robert Jenrick today sounded pleased when he anounced 400,000 single use gowns were being delivered tomorrow but we have over 100,000 nhs front line staff so it will only last a few days.

That video sums it up tbh and i completely agree Hancock needs to step up and fix the situation now or step aside.

How does replacing Hancock get plentiful supplies of PPE?
Because he seems to be doing nothing and even i could do more than he is.
For example I'd start by accosting all of the PPE workwear from Johnson's, berendsen, phs and many more workwear laundry companies out there before starting on all of the textile companies in the UK and enforcing they divert their manufacturing to what was needed.

That was fucking clever of them wasn't it....

You got to wonder when they'll realise that they're getting caught out in every single mistruth

According to that article the shipment wasn't being supplied by the Turkish government. So why would they have made a request to them earlier before problems delivering it arose? The government said there was logistical problems. Makes sense they ordered them directly from a company and then asked the Turkish government for help when logistical problems arose.

I don't believe for a second that they told the public it was coming without an order having first been placed. And that article shows nothing to the contrary. If anything it suggests an export license was neglected by the supplying company, a procedure only instigated a month ago. Is that the UK govs fault?

Is it the government's fault if they said something was already on its way when it wasn't?

Yes
