My first ever coil build and dripping session went so well ...... I hate it.

No, think of it as an RTA really, with a larger, 3 post deck that works like a dripper. The wicks pick up the juice coming up underneath. It works very well, very user-friendly.
Silly designation, am sure it has put people off. Steam Crave are releasing an(other) RTA soon, so maybe that will explain the logic behind it.

Cheers for the explanation, must say I am tempted by the Aromamizer RDA both for peoples opinions of it and its looks (good reason that ) and if the tank version performs as well as a dripper then I my have to give that a go at some point as well.

I really like the v1 Aromamizer RDA, have a v2 as well - it's even better.
The RDTA is an RTA, and quite different in flavour delivery compared with the drippers, as all tanks are, plenty of airflow and vapour though. Goblin Mini is damn good too.

The forthcoming tank from Steam Crave is named OCC, so probably targeted at the subohm tank user.

Got a question for all you other RDA lovers

Ive been running a dual coil 0.4ohm setup all week and really enjoy it, however i thought id give single coil a go because...why not?

Anyway as its a 0.4ohm build i just removed one could making it 0.8-0.9, I reworked and juiced up... set it to 13.5watts, and...... Hated it, it had no flavour and the cloud was poor, tried at 15w, same story :/

Is it me? is my wattage incorrect (researched that between 13-15w is best for 0.8) or something else?

The coil heats up fine and no hot spots, fires up quickly actually at 13w.

Help?

Does your RDA have an air setting for single coil use? Sounds like too much air.

Yes, dual and single coil airflow. Played around with it but just couldn't get a good vape like on dual. It's weird because a lot of flavour and cloud chasers seem to use single coil so it can't be that.
