Ni80 fused clapton wire

Very similar - the outer wrap seems to make little difference to the resistance. I've used 2-26/36 and 2-26/38 and they were almost identical in resistance.

Am I right thinking 2x26 or 3x28 ni80 fused claptons will both be good for a single coil build around 0.3ohm at around 30w

Or 24g if its single core/plain wire

2x24 in stainless would be around 0.3ohm so 2x26 ni80 should be there or there about but i dont use ni80 so better wait for someone that does to confirm.

It really isn't that hard bud.
Make your own coils, diy your own juice, use Labo for cotton = have more money for shiney stuff

The 2-26 will be the better of the two if you are aiming for 0.30 ohms I find dual 5 wrap coils with 3mm i.d. work out at 0.15 ohms a pair. The 3-28 wires are a bit higher in resistance and work out at 0.17 to 0.18 a pair. A 5 wrap Ni80 24ga single clapton will be over 0.40 ohms. When I say 5 wraps I mean 4 and a half full loops for atties that need the legs on both sides - if you need 5 wraps with opposing legs the 2-26 with 3mm i.d. will probably be a little over 0.30 ohms (maybe 2.5mm i.d. would be in the 0.3 ballpark?). But if you're using a regulated mod I've never worried too much about resistance as the board does all the thinking I need.

I have no clue about 30 Watt vaping I'm afraid - I tend to Vape MTL at 20 Watts and single coil DL at 50 and never venture into RDL territory- if you're using a restricted single coiler I think it will be ok, but 30 Watt vaping isn't my thing so I'm not sure

The 3x28 should be fine. You might find they're a bit better at 35w but it's all down to preference.

2 x 26 and 36awg wrap all NI80. And about 30watts and you will be sorted
Be abit more that .3 but will be nice
