Nife 30 wire help

Good schtuff buddy nice build enjoy! . Will have to sling a horizontal build in one as have been gifted two rdta for the pleasure of growing older by a year. Too airy for my adv and sick of the whistle when I use the air flow band to restrict it. Will have one coiled vertically for clouds and one with horizontals for more reasonable vaping. Yay for people giving me bday pressies I actually want for once!

Happy birthday and great people buy what you like. I'm impressed and whistling gone. 2 birds with 1 stone so to speak

Wicked I like your style my wire came today so guess I'll be busy tonight, cheers for info @Mr Numpty and as regards the D1 still not shipped[emoji26]. Guess will be nice surprise when it finally arrives

The D1 is just outstanding with kanthal and titanium. Haven't tried Niffy in it yet as it might be a touch too low resistance for it. Been playing with Steam Engine to see if there's a decent Niffy build that's high resistance enough for it. It's kinda tough. Going to try a 29 gauge 7 wrap 2.5 ID which should give 0.12ish and see how it performs and sits in the deck. Should be food for @danb 's "TC accuracy and wire selection" thread.

Stay tuned for the next riveting episode of Mr Numpty chases his perfect vape.

I use 8 wraps of 28 gauge NiFe48 at 2.5 mm ID in my Billow V2. Comes out around 0.18 Ohm and gives a nice, stable TC vape. I expect a 0.12 Ohm NiFe30 build would be OK, but this is exactly the sort of situation where I would advise using NiFe48 or Ti to keep the accuracy high.

Yeah, do link me up if you would please. Funny thing is of course, I had got on fine with the 0.1 Ti builds I used to use - even slightly lower but have been at 0.15 for everything recently, so it will be interesting to find out how Niffy and the D2 do down there.
