Omega RDA, original or clone.

Well basically, I had a guilty ebay purchase of an omega clone the other day and when I received it I instantly noticed a big 'fu' problem.

As they have 3mm airholes drilled into the cap and well that only gives you the choice of one position, aka personally, and I think this goes for a lot of others too like to have their airholes sitting right infront of their coils at an angle.
Seeing as the airholes on this clone sat more towards the center post, this meant when coiling I had to keep the leads to the negative post at a considerable length to keep the coil infront of the airholes. This pissed me off as I'm a bit of a perfectionist and like everything to be neat, tidy and uniform down there.
The position of the airholes are like this:

So this morning I set about redrilling the well to the correct positions, like the above picture, but due to my bench drill being out of action and my hand drill not up to scratch, I've kinda trashed it with a hint of frustration. :/





So what have you got? clone or original either way, as long as the airholes are like the second picture!

the one i have has the holes in the right place nick, not tried it yet but if it helps its the hcigar one so should be trying to find that one....however the vendors i know are all out of stock

I'm also waiting for the hcigar Omega clone to come back in stock. Vapegeek have told me next week they should have some

I purchased the omega from vapegeek and the holes were in the wrong position, this caused too much of a throat hit as I couldn't get the airholes right on the coil

It works fine it just needs a bit of extra tweaking to get perfect

Thanks for the help guys, I'll be keeping an eye out on vapegeeks website next week then, the review video I seen of one from vapegeek had the correct airhole positions so hopefully all will be good
