Just received a reel of 28 gauge nife20 from stealthvape. Threw together a quick build in ktech subtank mini , 0.15 ohm spaced 5 wraps 2.5,mm ID. Great Vape ! Although a tasted a little like machine oil at first may not be down to the wire.

Much better than the kangtech ni200 occ coils, which were poo although I never rated the occ coils.

Configured the xcube to 0.0050 TC, and using between 250-265oC to get a nice warm Vape. Does this seem high? Anything over that I get dry hit.

My question is, can I use contact coils with this wire or will it confuse the mod. Reason being I want to try a dual coil in goblin mini but not sure if 10 spaced wraps will fit.

Also do you dry burn it? And what sort of ranges should I be building it in. I chose the 0.15 as that seems like the standard.

Any advice appreciated from whoever has experience with this wire.

Already think it's Much better than ni200 and haven't even started yet

Hi Arron. I run a similar build to you in my subtank and find the sweet spot for me is 470f on the normal setting. Once the cotton broke in the flavour was just stellar.

Some folk on here have been dry burning NiFe, but I think stealthvapes are still on the fence regarding this so I'll be sticking to spaced coils for my builds for the moment.

My advice is buy yourself a velocity clone (I use the tobbeco one). 10 spaced wraps fit like a glove and come out at at 0.16 ohms. Best TC vape to date for me [emoji6]

Thanks for your response Longy, I have to agree now the cotton has broken in this is the best Vape I've had .. On a tank... So far.

I am about to put that plan to action, I received a velocity clone from fast tech tother day, although it rusted after I washed it I probably shouldn't use it but meh. I tried a nickel build which was okayish ( great big fuck off clouds but cold vape)so looking forward to trying this
