We still have milkmen but you wouldn't want to pay the prices, milk delivery has become some sort of luxury for the well off these days.

that’s only because they’ve been so heavily undercut by the supermarkets, though. against inflation it’s probably much the same or even cheaper than it was in the 80s.
 
but back to the original subject, i see prime minister johnson is in t news saying no lockdown at the moment. so it’s a very that there will definitely be one soon, it would seem. my money is on a double xmas cancellation. :)
 
Pub I was in last night was rammed, felt a bit guilty being in there but it was too cold to continue sitting outside, in the dark. Most of the general public will not accept or adhere to another lockdown, is my opinion.
