Just gave the door a hone with a small knife sharpening stone. It seems to have helped. I honed most of the underside, flattening out those 2 dimples in the middle.

Half of me wants to set about it like that ....... the other half thinks I've just spent about twice what I usually spend on a mod ..... I shouldn't have to ..... and I'm scared of killing the warranty ......

I still love the design ....... I want to use and like the mod .... really I do ........

I've slightly reduced the length of the end tab as well. Going on a lot easier now.

For the price of the mod, none of you should be having issues like this. Or having to order replacement battery doors. I hope the vendor sorts it for you.

Get them to confirm in an email that this won't affect the product warranty, specifically if the battery contacts snap.

That youtube video sucks. I don't own this mod but that's not how you put a battery in ! That's a bloody disgrace of a video trying to show the work around for bad design of a mod not fit for purpose.

I shouldn't laugh - but at least they'll have to replace it now if it breaks something while following their awesome video.
