What colour is yours? I'm wondering if some are better than others. Glad it's OK though ...... and glad you like it.Mine arrived today.
There is a bit of a knack to closing the battery door, but it fits ok.
You have to sort of push down and side ways at the same time.
Mine is the Champagne Grey mod. I thought it was impossible to get the door on at first. My method is to push the end tab under the lip, push down and pull back slightly until the 2 end tabs are below the lip, then push forward again. I think i'm going to have to re-wrap the batts pretty frequently though. What colour is yours? I'm wondering if some are better than others. Glad it's OK though ...... and glad you like it.
On mine (and @instantlady 's I'm guessing) even if you push the battery down directly, it won't drop below the level of the groove for the tab on the door. I got OH to try too ....... just to confirm it's not a girly issue .......
Yep, that's kind of how I did it with the already-squished batteries from my Picos ...... but you can now see a dent in the tops of the batteries ...... and that doesn't seem like a good thing to me? The batts don't have any dents, but the wrap at the tab end has a small nick. I might get a file out and tidy up any sharp edges.Yep, that's kind of how I did it with the already-squished batteries from my Picos ...... but you can now see a dent in the tops of the batteries ...... and that doesn't seem like a good thing to me? Would you mind keeping me posted, please? The batts don't have any dents, but the wrap at the tab end has a small nick. I might get a file out and tidy up any sharp edges.
I'm hoping it eases with use.
