LOL - I've just watched it again and realised you can actually see the dent they make in the bottom of the battery!!

The magnets serve no purpose that I can see they are pointless things to have, I thought they used them originally as a previous door system not sure though

They are powerful though they will pick and hold 1p 5p

I think it's to stop rattle if you have loose batteries....

once the inflexible contacts have been crushed to death and your batteries are all dented to fuck, those magnets will be needed to hold the battery door on.

It is genuinely horrible for you guy's. Luckily I'm skint and it's not for me but that's an awful lot of money for a Chinese mod. Can't imagine how disappointed you are.
Also the transfer of manufacturing was a little underhanded too.
You should not be paying for their incompetence.

Got an old pair of batts and forced them down re the video.
This, combined with my fettling of the door, means the door slides on easily now.
