T2 with an iTaste 3.0

Hi All

I am pretty new to vaping and look forward to learning through this forum. I have a quick question to begin with. I have an Itaste 3.0 which came with iClear 16 clearomisers and everything is working great. I was in a local shop to buy some new juice and wanting to try different things bought a T2 clearomiser just to try. However the T2 is not recognised when on the iTaste, it will not vape and when I go to check its ohms the iTaste says non which means it thinks there is no clearomiser attached.

Initially I thought the T2 was faulty but I tried it on a eGo T battery and it works fine. In fact, I probably like it as much if not more than the iClear.

So my question is should the T2 and all other clearomisers work with the iTaste, I really want to try out some different clearomisers and experiment.

Any replies will be greatly appreciated.

You'll need a 510 adaptor to use a T2 on an Itaste mate!!! i've got one and had the same problem!!!

ok, so even though the T2 screws on to the iTaste no problem, it will never work without a 510 adaptor ? i wonder are there other clearos like this, i dont want to buy clearos that will not work straight onto the itaste ?

Itaste is 510 and ego. Could be the centre pin needs raising with small screwdriver. I have same problem when try to use Protank. Raise centre pin though and fine

From what I can see m8, the itaste is a 510 connecter and the t2 in an ego connecter. Most kit is either ego or 510 connections. You need to buy a 510-ego adapter, only a couple of quid.
Then you should be sorted for most stuff.

my iTaste in the innokin kit, and i thought it was both ego and 510 threaded, it has threads inside and outside the connector

so if it can take both, then it might be the pin needs raised as sidders suggested ?

but raise which pine, one on the itaste battery, or on the T2 clearomiser ?

There is a pin in the centre of the connector of the itaste. Should be able to fit a small screwdriver in to raise it

No probs. I have used quite a few different ones on mine. Evod, T3S, Davide, Protank and iclear 30 to name a few!

and with a little adjustment of vv/vw the T2 is even better on the iTaste than on the egoT, happy days !
