The return to MTL and restricted lung vaping

@godofporn.. but I believe you can use the new Triton mini coils (like the clapton) in the Nautilus as well, so you get the best of both worlds? Hopefully someone will confirm or correct!

You certainly can. :) The Triton Mini tank will give you more airflow (if you want it), and top fill, but aside from that, the vape is exactly the same as with the Triton Mini coils in the Nautilus, in my opinion. :)

I really like the Plato.
It's ligth, big tank, doesn't leak, compact, easy to operate, but coil changing is a tiny bit trickier than other tanks (but in no way difficult). Great for mtl and restricted dl.
Tried all acailable coils (regular nauti, triton mini, nauti rba and the included sub-ohm) and like the regular nauti best.

Cheers dude. Decided not to get the plato and ended up buying the nautilus mini with a pack of bvc coils.

I remember how good the original used to be when I started vaping so I'm hoping I fall in love all over again

I did the same thing a couple of weeks ago. After using nothing but sub ohm tanks and RDAs for the last nine months I got myself a new Natilus Mini cos I can't prise my old one off the Mrs.

I love it. Flavour is great and I can have a stealthy vape outside work without everyone looking at me like some kind of dragon/bloke weirdo.

I even dusted the old Pro Tank 3 off and found an unused coil and I'm enjoying that too but I can't wait for the Kayfun mini to arrive from FT.

Yeah that's the number one thing for me now. I hate blowing clouds to gain attention. Super douche thing to do unless I'm home

Hi guys and gals. Firstly I'd like to say what a great thread this was to read, but more importantly for me, to learn from. It has taken me so long to get through this thread, as I've had to stop and research many times whilst reading. As others apes have said throughout this thread "this is gonna cost me a fortune" and I feel that's how it will be for me too.:rotflmao:

When I first starting vaping I purchased a Guardian II with Nautilus tanks. I prefer mtl, but admit to owning a UD Zephyrus, which I am now starting to experiment with and now I have all my coiling and wicking supplies I'm gonna be busy over the weekend. I was using the Zephyrus this morning whilst reading this thread. I got through 4ml of juice and it killed a fully charges 18650 battery in just over an hour.:17: That alone is enough to make me remain a mtl vaper, but time will tell on that one.

I do not know how many of you Nautilus tank owners/users have tried the RBA from Gearbest, but I have 2 that I ordered some time ago and intend to give them a build over the weekend. As I use my Nautilus on a day to day basis (discretion at work is a must) when I finally build coils for the Nautilus I will have a reference point from which to measure its success or failure, taste wise, which is my main goal. There is also a tutorial on youtube which shows how to strip a standard Nautilus coil and replace with a home made build, again I will be trying this out over the weekend too. I feel I have nowt to lose by doing so and maybe something to gain flavour wise. It also looks like I have some serious research to do, regarding mesh too.

Thanks to everyone for all their recommendations for the best mtl tanks and as I've just got paid I think I will be ordering a couple of the clones recommended from fasttech. Depending upon what I like best, I may just ask for the real McCoy for my birthday in June.:14:

And finally to a really silly question. How much does flavour change in relation to higher a VG content, compared to a higher VG content, if at all?

Thanks for taking the time to read this.

Typically VG is less of a flavour carrier than PG but if you only vape high VG then you soon get used to that being the benchmark and you forget that you would get more flavour than using a higher PG. VG is also sweet tasting so these days I pass on the sweetner all together. Also as long as a MTL can wick well like the Kayfun mini V3 or Taifun GT 2 then the flavour I get is perfect with high VG.

Personally, I find higher VG juices do lose on flavour, and I really love strong flavours so I do notice. Upping the wattage does seem to help, but It's one of the reasons that I went into mixing my own, so I wasn't so limited by wanting 50/50 or 60/40 juices.
