BAT, JTI, Philip Morris Ask For 6-Month Extension To Comply With Tobacco Directive
British American Tobacco (BAT), Japan Tobacco International (JTI) and Philip Morris asked for a six-month
postponement of the May 20 deadline to comply with the new provisions of the Tobacco Products Directive,
saying the changes trigger important investments in equipment and materials.
