UK Gov To Ban Disposables?

It seems like a very odd statement to make.. and has the vibe of "let's ban something that's already banned"... (that's happened in quite a few other countries)
Vaping is the hot potato at the moment and the media just jump on the bandwagon.

Now this -
Sex abuser used vapes to groom 14-year-old girl

There are propaganda vibes in the article, it strikes me...

And this quote mystifies me -

Isn't vaping already banned for under-18s?
Groomers will use any means available to them to try and entice victims... be it vapes, cigarettes, alcohol, drugs, clothes, money, etc. Might as well ban everything then.

Or maybe a better solution would be for adults to pay more attention to what the fuck the kids they're responsible for are doing, and introducing a mandatory minimum sentence of 25 years for any adult who engages a child in sexual activity.

Exacly as @Mitz says. What about all the groomers that use sweets, video games or practically every other single thing that might appeal to kids?

Ban those too?

Alarmist click-bait bullshit.

This is the point; they are using vile exploitation to demonise vapes (more)...

Well, if there's zero enforcement now and vendors are happy selling illegal vapes, why would they care if all vapes are banned? Just means they'll have more illegal vapes to sell.

no, there is limited enforcement now. but enforcement will
be much easier if the lines are much clearer. if you go into a shop how do you know which D’s are approved and which aren’t? it’s a pure mess as it stands, largely
because of the state of the current regulations.

Maybe not, but I reckon I can narrow it down quite a lot by buying one that's 2ml and made by a reputable manufacturer that has a decent UK retail presence?

Apparently all products registered with the MHRA are given an identifier, EC-ID, which should appear on the product packaging of e-liquid and tanks and can be checked.

Edit: just checked a few boxes and found an EC-ID on an Aspire Mixx, Nautilus 3 but not on a Bishop, Arcana 22 or a few direct from China.

To be further blurred by sticking a wee USB c on the bottom of them....the only way you will know is by picking them up when you take the wee man to school
