Vaping To Be Taxed

I don't mind paying tax on liquids as long as they don't ban flavoured eliquids
RLY?
So, 10ml bottle to be minimum £12 (£10+2 as VAT) + the current price?
Well... I'd say that I will be not so...

We can all speculate what the possibilities are but there's no telling what the government will end up implementing. I would agree with the earlier comment though, I would rather pay some level of tax on e-liquid than not be able to buy the flavoured e- liquid I want because the government have put a ban on all flavours except bloody tobacco flavour!

A sensible tax would be ok but yeah that's excessive
I don't think a "sensible tax" would be OK at all (unless you mean a reduced rate of VAT)...

The tax rate of smoking cessation products, including patches, gums, and inhalators, have a reduced rate of 5% VAT (with no extra excise duty tax).
Why should vapes have more tax? (presently the normal rate of 20% VAT)

The problem we face is vaping is being seen as no longer a smoking cessation product. The media and government both state that it's a pandemic amongst non smokers so will use any means and any excuse to get extra revenue in.
