Xcube II eating my battery wraps..

Yeah @3dj mine are exactly the same and I don't go above 40 watts on mine ! U can see it catching when you remove the batteries
 
I have the same prob, my batts are prob due replacing anyways as they don't hold the charge as much these days, good to know it wasn't just the way I was ripping them out of the mod though, as I tried the gentle touch the strappy thing and just the sod it out they come way
 
having the same problem on the sigelei 150w, I've found that if you slot the battery in flat (as opposed to doing the +ve first or vice-versa at an angle), the problem is solved. Hopefully that helps you with your mod
 
Anyone else have a problem when removing batteries from the Xcube II?

I bought x2 brand new Samsung 25r's from ecolux and removing them everyday is slowly destroying the protective wrap at the bottom of my battery.

Any way to stop this happening? The springs in the battery compartment seem really tough.

I have the same issue with mine too, my IPV D2's are pretty tight too.

Perhaps someone could post a link for battery skin stockists as it seems to be a common problem.
