Am I not understanding this correctly !

I should of also said that it is a regulated device as its being limited to 80W which is reducing the applied voltage.
 
That's true mate. Even when I put 80 watts in the ohms calculator it still came out at 42 amp.
\When you use an ohms law calculator, put in o.1 ohm and 80W, it will show approx 28W and 2.something volts. The regulation is reducing the applied voltage

I think this MAY be the answer, I had to change the coil resistance .... but even so 80w, 4.2v = 19a ... so if it's limiting it to 80w that would still hold true whatever the resistance? maybe?

Are all the reviewers just confusing people by calling it unregulated then ? I knew there was a reason I've stuck to regulated /variable mods :D
