custom duty on a pack of coils from China?!

I’ve just put in order in for some cotton $12.16 total incl uk epacket.

Will I get caught by this? I’m well under the £15 cut off but it’s 50/50 if FT will put the correct price on the package

They should mark it with the correct value, send in a ticket to make sure they do

Would have just bumped it but there were drip tips in there for the missus.

I dunno how they're working out £3.03 VAT on every package. VAT on £15 is £3, so where do they the extra 3p each time?

They might be using a different exchange rate.
