What's new

Forum newbie - anyone seen this before?

From my experiences, the bubbles just disappear without any residue or other signs of problems.

My belief is that this occurs especially to tight mtl vapers. Since there is more vacuum, if there’s any vaper left over in the chamber, it is sucked into the tank. This is definitely more visible on the tripod, since there’s very little space between the glass and chamber :)

Thanks @ZenAnarchi. Here are some pics after using SLIVR - I used it for a while then experimented with the Nature Vape stuff. There is still a milky bubble and it bursts with the same kind of "mist".

Looks like as been mentioned it's just vapour...I wouldn't worry, think of it as having a special tank:)

Sorry, did it also happen with the Slivr? Then it’s not the cotton… Slivr is surgical cotton, and it is highly unlikely that there are impurities.

There aren’t that many variables to rule out. If you’ve cleaned the tank thoroughly, it’s not coming from there. And I can’t understand how it could be caused by the coil… So, then there’s the juice, but you said you’ve tried several different juices.

I am a bit flummoxed as to what it could be otherwise, so I stand firm by my hypothesis that it’s simply vaper coming back into the tank ;)

It’s never bothered me, the few times I’ve noticed it :D

@yzuk it's definitely vapour filling the bubbles ..when they get to the surface they pop and you can see the vapour (miniscule amount) but I've seen it in my rta's before ,can't remember which ones though

When you look closeley at where the bubble is coming from it looks like a gap in the wicking, i.e. too loose.

Never come across that but as long as it doesn't affect how it vapes I wouldn't worry.

There's actually a fair bit stuffed in there, the bits you can see is the cotton poking out of the holes that feed into the juice canal. I was actually worried that I had over-packed it this time.

Thanks @ZenAnarchi, I used the same juice, just different batches.

It's just vapour in the bubble - it's in the air that's drawn out of the chamber into the juice tank as the juice flows the other way into the wicks.
I get it often, on loads of different tanks. Nowt to worry about.

I've had this before with my Bishop! ‍♂️

My juice would go really dark and dirty looking too. Initially i increased the air flow and it went away. But more recently I swapped from Kanthal to Ni80 and its never happened again and I reduced the air flow back down to where I was happier.

I deduced that Kanthal has a slower ramp up and a longer cool down and therefore carried on vaporising after I'd let go of the fire button. And then that bit of vapour went through the wicking hole into the tank.

Ni80 and SS coils seems to give more of an on/off heat and its cleaned up my Bishop.
