"Hi Martin, I’ll have a look at the forum this week, and thanks for your support.

The event itself was a washout; no one came apart from people from my team, 2 retailers, 2 people who are making films about ecigs, Chris from Soar Media and the café staff (vapers themselves). However, we learned a lot from that about running events where there is a lot more natural footfall, and we’re going to do the next one at Leicester Market, probably in September, so I hope you’ll be able to drop by ands say hello.

That's a massive shame to hear that. Make some noise on the forum about this.

Its struck a nerve with me, im passionate about Vaping and the Vaping community AND its on my doorstep.
It just makes perfect sense, we all know the benefits of Vaping v smoking, otherwise we all wouldn't be on here?
If anyones got any suggestions to help then please voice them.

Can I suggest better advertising for such an event.
I say this, as I do read the forum, and I also follow Louise Ross on twitter, as well as many others that have an association. But this is the first I've heard of this event.
But having that said, if no smokers who want to, or are thinking of switching, also don't know about the event from lack of good advertising. The event could have even turned out as vapemeet. With loads of vapers turning up to help, with no potential switchers in sight.

I'm not surprised that few people attended from the industry, this is the very first time I have heard about it and woukd almost certainly have attended - Twitter is all well and good but a lot like myself lose many tweets because they move too quickly.
