Decided to leave it yesterday, got up this morning to

so rinsed it off and was left with this

Not as blue as I'd have liked. Gonna scrub and redo I think. It looks quite good but not what I was after.

Does look good, but I agree after a second go it could look very interesting indeed with the foundation you've laid down for it.

Might just sand and do over

Just in from work, decided to give it another go. Quick light sand, spray with ammonia /salt solution, over zealously sprinkle on Salt, spray then more salt, final spray and close the lid.

@Drummergav little question if you're about. You recently posted a pic of a mod with a bright red /pinky patina, how did you achieve that dark rich red color?
