Mask exemptions

Basically, I'd do what @eyeball kid said, use the cuff of a glove to pull it inside out and off hand one, then use that to remove glove 2. Wash, then remove mask by keeping your hands well away from the face and from behind so you are only touching the very end parts furthest away from where the mask sits on the face. Bin and wash, then wash some more.
Thats how I was taught anyway.

Another correct answer mate, it's heartening to see how many apes do understand it.
I always selected the right glove for what I knew I was going to do, so if not delicate work I would go for a slightly loose glove, that way I could ease them off half way down by tugging on the fingers, then shake them into the bin, on precision work involving picking up, and inserting 2mm grubscrews, then a tight pair was needed, and take off exactly as you described.

Had most of my gear till I stopped working, body suit, hood, boots, and canister mask, etc, etc.

But Tesco is a matter of personal opinion, as far as I am concerned I don't need a mask to go to Tesco if it's going to make my breathing a nightmare. :)
I wasn't responding about a mask. You questioned my opinion that gloves were a waste of time [emoji6]
As from 24th, masks in shops are to be compulsory (except for certain situations) , I'm not happy about that but will conform because it will be the law.

That youtube link is the full album, some filler on it. I have the remastered cd, I love my records though, no fucked up loudness war or dynamic range compression going on. Modern vinyl is often junk because of shite mastering or the fact that the record sounds the same (from a mastering perspective) as the cd, it's bollocks.

Will be sure to follow your link.
My brother in law is absolutely mad on his music, used to go to see bands all over the place, record shop, and fairs.
Has a good quality stereo, but was always mind full oh his neighbours so used good headphones a lot of the time.
He used to have a very small bedroom in his house racked out for all his vinyl, hundreds, and hundreds of albums. He also has a duplicate of most of them on cd.

it's not a comp, but second time round (sold the first lot in '91, due to debts) I now have around 800 LPs , about 600 CDs and 1TB on my my hard drives, mainly lossless (FLAC and .wav). I can understand why people stream their audio, the room needed for an old hi fi, records and even CDs is ridiculous. I stopped buying records and not just because of the price, there's no space left.

Yeah, I love my music, but the space needed for everything is ridiculous.
But I suppose all "hobbies" are the same, golfers, fishermen, etc, etc.
An all encompassing need for money, and space.

Yeah I remember that, never really addressed my opinion that gloves were more important than gloves though

Please fell free to update me, but the statement from number 10 has already said that people with certain disabilities are exempt, so I would imagine that with being unable to walk without a stick, hand tremors due to an overactive adrenal gland, bent fingers due to something that I can't remember the first part but ends in contracture, breathing problems, and a host of other illnesses, I think there is a good chance that I am exempt. :)

We're not talking about a lab though are we. I've worn full NBC suit but I wouldn't need it going to tesco !
True fella but for gloves and mask for viral protection it will be the same except you can use hand sanitizer instead of the hand washing.
Pointless wearing it if your just gonna stick your finger up your nose behind the mask then pull the gloves off with your teeth, lol.
The terrible thing is that gloves and masks should have been a go go from day one if they really wanted to stop or attempt to contain the virus.
I can only imagine that the initial information of it culling the elderly seemed an attractive proposition then the limited supplies of ppe meant they had to minimise word of it's effectiveness or risk the public's wrath.

That was sort of my point mate. People wearing gloves still touching everywhere and think it's ok because they've got gloves on. You are better off just forgetting the gloves and realising you are possible going to get contaminated hands. Carry alcohol hand sanitizer if you are not going to be able to wash your hands.
The obvious exception is if you have a bad cut or the like on your hands as an entry point for the virus.

I'm still not convinced with the gloves in a normal situation. If you are afraid to touch something incase you pass the virus on from your hands then the same will happen if you are wearing gloves.

You're right. FWIW I don't and won't be wearing gloves. The advise is the same as it has always been: wash your hands often and don't touch your face.
People are less inclined to wash their hands if they are wearing gloves BECAUSE they are wearing gloves, either because they think its safe, or because its a massive faff to take the gloves on and off. Course, if you touch your face while wearing gloves (say to adjust your mask) then there's no point anyway.

No your right bud. The vast !majority won't know how to use gloves properly and or regularly change and clean and have a false sense of security.
As it's obviously not a virus that will ever pass through pores they present little benefit and do more harm than good.
