Micro coil wire help

Howdy Folks!!
I've just started to become interested in making my own coils, rebuilding etc...
Brought an RDA from smoktech just a cheapy so that I can practice, brought some 0.31mm A1 Kanthal from StealthVape.

The problem I've had so far is I've built 4 coils so far 6 wraps on a 2mm drill bit but can't seem to get an Ohm reading on my MVP 2, all I get when I check is the message nOn as if nothing is connected.
Have I brought the wrong mm wire or do I need more/less wraps??
Please help!!
The missus has threatened me with expulsion to the sofa tonight if I shout and swear once more while she's watching Finding Bigfoot, so as you can see this is getting serious

it should read the ohms anyway regarding of how low they are just wont fire below 1.2 i think. should read it fine unless youhavent tightened the posts properly. Either that or the RDA isnt connectin to the battery pin to get a reading but somehow unlikely

Sounds like it's not making contact with the pin try lifting the pin with a small screw driver.
