Was your nic VG as in the recipie?
Usually harshness comes from higher PG content or over flavoured.
Dont think 14% is the issue so steering towards pgvg ratio.

Could the flavour be too weak? not strong enough to cover up the nic?

This recipe is fine:
The Black v4.0
Menthol (TFA) - 1%
Blackberry (Capella) - 5%
Red astire (T-juice) - 10%

the red astire is a strong flavour concentrate

so im leaning towards the flavours are too weak? is that even a possibility, can it be the nic is too strong for the flavours

Your nic wont be harsh unless its off.
Its the pg that will give you the throat hit.
Too much flavour will feel like the juice is drying the throat with mild scratching sensations.

Vape 3mg nic 70vg30pg without flavours.
If youre still getting the harshness try plain vg then pain pg.
After doing the above youll work out where the problem is.

I have done the Vg and Pg tests on their own both were fine and combined, just not flavourless with nic so ill try that.

Could i be that unlucky that the only 2 batches of nic i have ordered from 2 different suppliers would be off? Especially if a couple of my recent mixes are fine?
The one i mentioned above (the black v4.0) is great, along with a apple and black currant i mixed. But 6 others are not! Mango, BlueSlush, Banana, Buddha, Blueberry & Peach and TutiFruti.

Yes regardless of which vendor you purchase it from it could easilly have come from the same batch.

ok cheers i didn't want to have to buy more nic but i may have to lol

ill do several more tests and see what i discover.

yeh it is vg based both lots i have.

they are the only nicotine i have ever bought
and am unsure if the smell they have is correct

Put a drop on your finger and smear it in then dab your tongue and tell me what you taste.
