I used a few tutorials and a wire wrap guide, very fiddley to do but I certainly enjoyed it,flavour is pretty much spot on and a decent cloud.
I used miniature screwdrivers to build the coil at 2.4 mm .

I think the hardest part was doing the cotton bit,I used about 5 strips to get it right

Great tanks those serpents,i didnt think you could still get'em
Thats what started building with, i found that keeping the wick cut short so it just fills the juice wells
Not stuffed in though and you'll be golden!!

Yeah, that was the problem, I think the first few tries I tried to stuff the well ,thinking more the better and its not going to leak,it's not the case because I just fluffed the cotton on the last try pushed a bit in the well juiced it and it went ok

Still a few 4 ml serpents about ,I got mine on eBay,wanted silver but only black left, just ordered a mini serpent 3 ml and trying to get a reload

I put one of the pre-made Clapton coils in and the flavour is dull, loads of clouds but not what I'm after,I think a spaced stainless might be more to my liking

Claptons have some bed in time and need more watts to drive them(really they do), stick to round(simple) wire until you have your wicking and build nailed. If it spits constantly, not enough wick, if you get lots of dry/harsh hits, too much. Not too tight in the coil, but not loose(snug but not snagging). It's different for every tank, but it may just be the ends of the wick to, you want to soak in juice but not choak the small space the wick sits inside..
