What's new

The Dreaded TPD begins, be aware !

Have to say, some of the stashing up that I'm seeing on other social media beggars belief. Some have switched into full vape-ocalypse mode and have enough for their children's children.
There is rank stupidity in stockpiling VG, PG and flavourings, none of which is threatened and all of which can only degrade over time. Some may also be planning to make a killing by reselling nic at inflated prices ... is it called "flipping"?

I'm into vintage shaving with traditional DE razors. On the shaving fourms there is the exact same mentality, they call it the shave-pocalypse. The blades aren't hard to get in the slightest, there are hundreds of brands and new ones coming all the time. There are hundreds of vendors, you can get the things in Supermarkets and they are super cheap. Yet people hoard the blades in serious numbers. There is one guy that has enough blades to last several hundred years, based on his current usage and he stills buys more. I really don't get it.

I have said this before and will again.... as vaping costs is often compared directly to the cost of smoking....vaping must remain a cheaper alternative or the whole industry will die or become an elitist sport.
If suppliers/manufactures of all vaping related stuff start to notice a prolonged dip in consumer consumption/demand, they will react.

That's my argument about the very high cost eliquids if people stopped buying them there price would drop and keep dropping till people bought them again and they will still be making a profit so if they would be making a profit at a lower price all that extra profit is greed. It's only because people are stupid enough to pay the prices. Last time i had a moan i got a ganging up on me the poor vendors are going through hard time with the TPD attitude which i understand but do you think the vendors who charge these prices worry about the customer they just want your cash. And i stress i am only talking about the high priced eliquids and maybe saying vendors is wrong unless they manufactured these eliquids it's more aimed at the companies that make them.

It seems to me that they will be operating outside the law and will be subject to fines or prosecution if discovered. And at £162.49 per litre, who will shed a tear for them?
it's not operating outside the law at all nicotine is covered by the poisons act where it is legal for joe public to buy it in certain strenghts depending where you live in the States it's 100mg UK it's 75mg all though we only seem to get it at 72mg that law as not altered at all. Its only in relation to vaping the law as changed if they are not a vape site and not advertising it for use with vaping they can sell it to you.

I doubt that's true, personally, but I hope you (and they) are correct.

This is why i
have not gone and ordered any. I have never mixed before. But I would like to give it a go at some point. But not at this moment. I understand that I will still be abnle to buy it online and I may even be able to import it. It will cost more than it dose now from the vape shops but it will still be available. I have not really looked into the import side of it so its only a guess that I would be able to buy hit that way.
I have picked up so good value juice of brands and flavours that I have never tried before. Cost was also a factor for me you see. But at the moment there are some fantastic buys.

There are more uses for nicotine than vaping it's used for all sorts of things like pesticides we are in to vaping other people well into having allotments etc will be well into making there own pesticides why should the TPD affect them answer it doesn't

I think that's wishful thinking but time will tell I guess.
