What's new

BBC Negative Vape Propaganda continues...

I agree and disagree with that statement...

I think that if the disposables market had been treated responsibly by the vaping industry as a whole (with more of an onus probably on the manufacturers in that respect, but they are all in China, and probably don't really give a shit), then it may well have not looked so bad in the eyes of the legislators (in respect to environmental issues)...

But it wasn't.. and the horse has already bolted...

i think a wee glance at the landscape prior to the disposable boom is what leads me to say it was inevitable. disposables were always going to appeal to children and it’s obvious that a segment of the industry are aware of this and capitalise on it by taking it to absurd extremes. but even without those.

For myself, this fiasco with disposables is a result of not regulating the market. Of course the Chinese companies take advantage of any opportunity to make money, just as English companies do in other countries (take the example of British Tobacco in the Chinese market). The question is, should politicians and bureaucrats wait for problem markets to spiral out of control before they regulate them. There is no such thing as a free market, only more or less regulated ones.

The BBC are the Governments lapdog and have always been no matter who was running the Government, they are all 2 faced liars. They don't give a toss about joe public until an election is due, then they want you to forget what a shite government they are and vote for them. When i was younger i was brought up on Labour and now i don't trust any of them, the media is so far up the Conservatives arsehole they need mountaineering gear to get back down, i vote Liberal because they are the only party that hasn't fucked up, what happened to the monster raving looney party, i would vote them if i could.

The Tories might get round to doing something about disposables, be assured that Labour will hammer all of vaping.

you forgot about clegg and the coalition, aye? :D

Have you all read the POTV Newsletter, the BBC has been at it again, getting and reporting all the wrong facts, i wonder why they never ask real vapers about things. The only thing they got right is that disposables should be banned, the rest is total bollox.

As much as I don't like the concept of disposables, I don't think they should be banned (for many reasons)...

If the sale of them is affecting what i call proper vaping then that isn't good for any of us, I see vaping as a whole getting bad press and it's happening because of disposables. shit sticks.
