Mask exemptions

i’ve seen a couple of folk with visors on out and about the last few days.

i was busy with work till after 5 today and had to nip round the corner to the postie afterwards to post some records. at lunchtime when i packaged them i remembered i’d need to take a mask.

forgot the mask, by the time i went. stepped inside the postie and noticed everyone in masks, and had to nip back home to get one. christ, it’s terribly uncomfortable to wear. i’ll really struggle in the supermarket, i think. like breathing hot air into your eyes. and i’d been chopping garlic just before i went, to make matters worse.

yeah, it's not very pleasant that's for sure.

I've just watched a doctor on TV saying that asthmatics aren't exempt and if you have asthma it's probably more important you wear a mask.

Was in 4 shops today with no mask and no one questioned me.

i’m sure i could have chanced it in the postie, but i felt the urge to go back for the mask. one guy in their had his mask round his chin and nobody said anything to him.

i’ve seen a couple of folk with visors on out and about the last few days.

I bought some visors for work because one of the staff members is asthmatic and I thought a scarf/visor combination might be easier to cope with than a regular mask.

@Social Misfit you could always get yourself a labo cotton mask.

If you are going to shops without a mask then why ? If you can't wear a mask for medical reasons, then get someone to go shopping for you. It's not about you, it's about everyone else. Wearing a mask is at least trying to contribute to some sort of safety.
