Royal Fail!!

My Postie is actually pretty good, he knocked and waited for me to sign for the parcel i got from @hack400 , i was downstairs at the time so wasn't that bad getting to the door, i have a porch and he usually places things in there and shuts the door, i think most couriers do the same for me but also take a photo. I know Amazon insist on the photo.

No complaints with my postie as he signs things and either pops them through the letterbox or in a small external box we have, all very good until something goes missing of course.

i use a variety of couriers through parcel2go https://www.parcel2go.com/
cheap as chips and easier for me to drop off than the post office

ive got a referral link for 20% off your first order if anyone wants it pm me i

This actually i think is the way forward for most of you

we used to use them too - now we use one more geared to business (parcelhub) and you can choose the courier at better rates than the courier would give you direct.

they can also contact couriers directly - unlike us as the end user, so we basically just sound off at parcel hub when stuff goes wrong - and shit rolls downhill better

I saw my postie for the 1st time since looooong before Christmas on Monday. There was a massive stack of letters, one had been stamped as posted on the 9/12/22. They are hopeless here. Oh, and I haven't signed a single parcel since covid started, from rm or anyone else. I shipped a parcel to France with dpd on Saturday and its already been delivered but royal mail can't deliver a letter in a month, its pretty terrible

Bit like this really.

the more you look. The more you see it’s the company, not it’s staff, that are causing most of the problems. Truth is. RM no longer want to deliver Letters or standard delivery parcels.
I got an interesting Email from Rave Coffee. It looks like the RM are deliberately pulling the carpet from under vendors feet. RM, the email said, are not logging parcels, on the system, until they are going out for delivery. Leaving vendors with no information on parcel’s the RM has had for days. There was a whole heap of other impediments, they mentioned too.

Another classic case of privatisation vandalising U.K. services. Just to keep greedy twats happy.

What i don't like is them swapping and changing my Postie all the time then going back to the Postman you originally had, when they do that i am sure the new ones are dumping my mail. I had quite a few from eBay not turn up. I know eBay are unreliable but these are sellers i have used several times before. Also lost a couple from China which put a stop to me ordering from there. I actually get on well with my Postie and have often chatted over a cuppa. I agree it's the company that's to blame.

100% with you there. The postie, especially in rural areas. Used to be an intrinsic part of our community safety system. He knew if Mrs Jones hadn’t been seen for some time. Or that mr brown was looking ill that day.
Pay and condition are so bad. It’s hardly surprising that we often seem to have Monkeys delivering our mail. People who couldn’t care less, about their base customers. Now seem to both run the company and deliver most of the mail.
