Squid Industries Double Barrel mod 3FVape

Not a peep. Though I sent it to their general info email, and more in the spirit of 'you guys need to see this' than as a plea for help. I just thought they should know.
Definitely the right move. You might be waiting until Monday for a reply as some business don’t seem to work the weekend still. :(

That's really good of you, thank you. Funnily enough, they've not ever asked me for a video of the fault, but I think @instantlady has one. Bear with us and I'll put something together.

I think it’s sadder that companies think they can ignore faulty devices and post a video advising people to damage their 18650s, personally.

3f have sold shoddy products and not done anything to correct the matter. Admittedly, some might say that this is a risk the buyer accepts when purchasing at knock-down prices from China. And, yes, it does place too much power in the hands of the consumer who wants to defraud, but in cases like this, where no reasonable response has been forthcoming, it’s a necessity.

As I said before my main fury is towards the feckless fix video which now puts 3f as much in the crosshairs as squid to my mind.
I am but one customer but they won't get my money every month until they've sorted it.
It's not much (probably thirty quid a month) but as they won't listen to reason it's all I can do.
 
@Crewella and @instantlady . Delaying tactics get used by most of the Chinese vendors, at a guess it is done hoping you give up and take the loss or won't be arsed to file a paypal claim. 3f will lose a lot of customers from this incident, but the fact Gina is ignoring people is not good at all. My earlier post was posted in the hope Gina may look at the thread and the yen might drop causing a good solution. GB get a fair bit of flak but at least most of their reps will look after you if you have an issue.
All 3f need to do is get something sorted with Squid or Squids partner and the problem can be dealt with. The issue with the double barrel is something i would expect possible with a cloned device but not a device that costs £60 plus.

Agree 100%. I'm usually first to say if you expect UK style customer service then pay UK prices - if you want it cheap from China then you have to be patient and jump through their hoops. I've had issues with both FT and GB over the years, but it's all worked out fine in the end and I've been happy to keep using them and even recommend them.

I am, for the moment, sticking with the 3FVape customer services ticket in order to give them a chance to put it right ...... it's that video presented as a 'solution' and the rep on here ignoring customers with a genuine issue that's got me spitting feathers!
