I think it’s sadder that companies think they can ignore faulty devices and post a video advising people to damage their 18650s, personally.
3f have sold shoddy products and not done anything to correct the matter. Admittedly, some might say that this is a risk the buyer accepts when purchasing at knock-down prices from China. And, yes, it does place too much power in the hands of the consumer who wants to defraud, but in cases like this, where no reasonable response has been forthcoming, it’s a necessity.
