What's new

Vaccine 90% effective

Been mentioned on radio 2 this morning. Pfizer and (I can't remember).. It's looking hopeful.
Stored at - 70 degrees throughout the chain though... :hmm:

sadly no good for me or anyone on the very high risk group as the vacine has a small live part in it and those like me with no imune system or no spleen would not be able to fight it like most peoples imune system.

I wouldn't worry too much. This is only one of many and the technique used in this one is new and not the norm. There will be more coming hot on their heels that will be suitable for you and others with similar conditions.

I really hope it's good news (and not hype) and it works....... usually these things (clinical trials) can take 5- 10 years to develop n trial then license, sure it can be speeded up due to this pandemic....but this fast, Im no so sure.
Im sure all data will become available so folks can make a choice.

it is good news

I'm waiting for the train to stop at the station I can here the scientists tooting on the hillside.....

is it me or do I feel like I'm in school

While we wait for a vaccine suitable for those like yourself with different needs, it should at least cut down on the number of people able to infect you
