Mask exemptions

Btw, Gove said earlier " I don’t think mandatory, no, but I would encourage people to wear a face mask, where they are inside, in an environment where they are likely to be mixing with others and the ventilation may not be as good as it might. It is basic good manners, courtesy and consideration to wear a face mask if, for example, you’re in a shop.”

:hmm: :lame: :hmm:

You don't agree with that?

So my daughter has to work in shop all day wearing a mask so you can go and buy things you want but you can't be bothered to show the same consideration back?

I've just been to 2 shops. One was asking people to put them on before coming in and the other wasn't. Neither were that busy but both had a few people without so I'd guess the people in the shop that were asking had just said they were exempt. I doubt anyone will make a big issue.

Everyone should wear masks in shops, no exceptions. Gove is lame for suggesting it doesn't need to be mandatory, should have happened at the start. I've been wearings masks since I could get them, scarfs, snoods and other paraphernalia before that, I started on the 20th March. I've even bought and worn face shields.

Edit: Mandatory: Apart those adults with qualifying medical conditions, that would mean they can choose to be exempt.

This is what the scottish government has done. It’s interesting that the welsh are sitting on the fence a bit about it.

It’s absurd to say, everyone should wear a mask, but we won’t make it mandatory, because it’s just good manners. Not making it mandatory means you don’t have to do it, and clearly some people won’t. I’ve not been wearing a mask when I go round to the waitrose, obviously I will now because it’s mandatory.

My face mask is really easy to breath through and it has an inbuilt microphone so no need to shout.

Other than that the Manabush face masks are the easiest to breath through, or those thin black ones from Home Bargains, my mum has asthma and struggles with surgical masks, the N95 must me a nightmare.

I bought it from the LFC store around 10 years or so ago, I can't remember the exact year but it was in the training kit section.

I still have my all time favourite away shirts 1 Cream (96-97) round neck & Yellow (97-98) V neck which have the Carlesberg logo on, my 1st ever shirt was Candy.

I think it's absurd for the government to be telling people what to do.

It should be an agreement between the shop owner and people that wish to enter the shop, the government can keep out of it.

Nice to see you Zou. :)
