Coil advice on iGo-L rebuildable

Awwww,go on. All part of the rebuildable madness and might be one of the cheapest bits of vaping related kit you ever buy :-) At least you can be sure you've got no potentially battery wrecking short circuits before you fire it and you'll probably hit on a custom coil resistance that works for you (throat hits,clouds and all that).

The Vision atties I buy for my clearo are rated 2.4 ohms,but that's ballpark. It's not possible to mass produce something as crude as this with a lot of accuracy ,but with practice you can at home :-) I'm going to start rebuilding my Visions as well now.

Hi Tobes, take a look on PBusardo's site - I wire mine exactly the same as he does and it's perfect. I put it on my Vamo to quickly check the ohm's (or as stated a cheap mm will do the job) and as I only really drip to test new juices I then vape it on a crappy 650 ego battery. Don't put it on anything lower than a 650 though or it'll ruin the battery. Good luck pal they are a nice bit of kit and as for the juice all inside - I get that too and it's fine.

Ok. What is a hotspot exactly, cause I think I got one lol ?

A hot spot occurs when the coil shorts and as such causes a smaller than expected part of the coil to be used to take the current. It therefore gets hotter in that particular area.
It can also be.... If you have a long distance between a post and the coil, then the long pieces will usually get hotter because they are not covered in juice and glow red before the rest of the coil.
Hope that made a bit of sense.

When I first set it up, they all were glowing red very nicely.

now it seems, it's spitting quite a lot too

This is how the coil should glow and each coil should glow at the same time, a hot spot is one of the coils glows before the other normally either the top or the bottom

...Also, if it's dry it will all glow red. If it's wet, it probably will not glow. Glowing indicates (to me at least) that it's not wet enough too.
Spitting happens when it's burning.
