Coil advice on iGo-L rebuildable

I dont know why but I drilled the hole before I ever used my Igo so I couldnt compare to a standard one. Its pretty insane though.
The amount of vapour it can produce is simply ridiculous compared to anything I have so far ( not that I have actually used that much lol)
I have just re wicked mine today with a hybrid ss/silica wick and a twisted coil at 1.5 ohm, even at just 3v this thing is amazing. I made the mistake of using it
in the car without opening the window and after one hit I had to stop the car briefly because I literally couldnt see my windscreen :S

Just widened the hole with the old corkscrew method this afternoon. Can't really notice any difference yet,but my batteries are about half charged (one for dripping,one for clearo),so I'll see how it fires with a fresh one in. I fancy bashing up a hybrid wick too,now that I seem to have got the standard silica wick thing sorted.

This eGo battery malarkey is wearing a bit thin. I want more power and voltage control. I feel that Vamo v2 coming on,but I don't think there's a stainless one in the country at the moment! If I go the chrome route I'll scratch the hell out of it. I'm a clumsy bugger ye see :-)
 
Usually a sign of the air hole being in the wrong place or the silica is way gone.
 
ive wrapped a ss wick round a silica and put coil on ss wick and seams okies but ive drilled the hole too big now lol
 
I use a full stainless wick in mine, 10mm wide x about 40 or 50mm long. Works a treat even on an ego twist.
